Drum roll! We are delighted to announce the winners of the Social CEOs awards. Find out what we can learn from the winners in my new piece for Civil Society.
Here’s the full list of the wonderful winners in our infographic below. Well done to the class of 2020!
Key stats from this year:
- 10 of the top 16 are new entrants, compared to a third last year. This shows how a new generation of digital talent is emerging in the sector
- 9 of the top 16 are women, which continues last year’s trend of more women than men amongst the top CEOs
- 5 out of the 6 individual awards were won by women
- 131 nominations were received in total
A big thank you to our judging panel of digital leaders chaired by Simon Blake, CEO of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England. The other judges were: Polly Neate, CEO of Shelter, Tessy Ojo, CEO of The Diana Award, Lucy Caldicott, Founder at Change Out, Ruth Ibegbuna, Founder of RECLAIM Project and The Roots Programme and Kim Shutler, CEO at The Cellar Trust.
Civil Society are our media partner for the awards. Huge thanks to Kirsty Weakley and the team for all their help.
Thank you to everyone who nominated, supported, and came to the awards! See you in 2021 when we hope there will be even more examples of social sector leaders pioneering use of digital.
