In a few months’ time we’ll be launching the #Socialceos awards for 2016. We are super excited to tell you about our plans.
How we want the awards to help the sector
Post Brexit, charities are facing increased demand and close scrutiny amid economic and political turmoil. If charities are going to meet these challenges their leaders need to be out there on social media flying the flag for their organisations, building valuable relationships and talking about how they make a difference. Our goal each year is to keep challenging charity leaders to raise their game on social media, helping the sector become better recognised for its great work.
Who can enter?
Our awards are cause agnostic. Registered charities of any size and from all over the world can enter. Previous winners include Paul Breckell of Action on Hearing Loss, Steve Ford of Parkinson’s UK and Jan Tregelles of Mencap.
Once again there will be a small number of additional awards recognising excellence amongst other charity leaders using social media, alongside the top 30 #Socialceos. More news on that soon!
Our judges
We have a fantastic panel lined up this year, including charity leaders who are all doing great things on social media. They are:
